Jolene F. Magnee

Jolene F. Magnee brought her 11 years of experience in the legal field to BSK in August of 2017, joining the firm as an Estate Administration Paralegal. With Jolene’s prior experience, she understands the delicate and intricate nature of legal matters, especially those involving family members, which is valuable when assisting in estate administrations.  While maintaining a high level of professionalism, Jolene provides valuable support and guidance to clients and consistently strives to achieve the best possible outcome while remaining dedicated to each client's goals. Although Jolene assists in various legal matters, her primary focus is assisting with the administration of estates and trusts.  Jolene’s involvement in the administration process is from the initial client meeting through the distribution of the assets to the beneficiaries. Jolene understands the Court procedures and rules when Court involvement is required; works with the client, attorneys, accountants and other professionals to obtain required information pertaining to the assets of the estate/trust; and assists with creating and implementing a plan of division.

Being an Arizona native, Jolene graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies and Social Inquiry. While participating in an Honors program during college, Jolene volunteered with the Mesa City Prosecutor’s Office-Victim Advocacy Department, which further sparked her interest in the legal field. To advance in her legal career, Jolene worked at the Maricopa County Superior Court where she held positions as a Court Operations Specialist at the filing counter and as a Courtroom Clerk for various Maricopa County Superior Court Judicial Officers. While working at the courthouse, Jolene continued her legal education and obtained her certificate in Paralegal Studies from Phoenix College, an ABA approved paralegal program, and she looks forward to expanding her paralegal education by becoming a certified paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA). Jolene’s legal experience includes 7 years as a Family Law Paralegal and 4 years with the Maricopa County Superior Court. Jolene is a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association - Paralegal Division and is an Arizona Notary Public. Jolene is active in the community and regularly volunteers for various local charities.
